Be a part of the Weitz Center’s opening this Fall! Submit your pictures on the theme of learning and action. Winners will be selected for the Civic Engagement Exhibition at the Weitz Center for Creativity. Show us why and how you care about creating change!
Please submit up to 6 digital photographs or photo collages of your own work at http://go.carleton.edu/acephoto by May 15th 2011.
Selection Criteria: Images will be selected based upon both their aesthetic qualities and their relevance to the theme. Thus we ask you to write an explanation where the photo comes from and how it relates to the theme.
Judging Process: Online voting from May 19th to May 25th 2011. In addition to the popular vote, there will be a “professional judge” category. Winners announced before the end of the term.
Outcome: Selected images will be displayed at the Weitz Center’s opening event on September 17, 2011. Photographers of selected images will be contacted for more information about their photographs.
