Carleton College is featured in a recent article in The Nation’s Health, the official newspaper of the American Public Health Association (APHA). In their July issue, APHA recognized groups around the nation who celebrated National Public Health Week. The Minnesota section features the library exhibit, “This is Public Health: Public Health in Practice”, designed by students in Professor Walser-Kuntz’s Public Health in Practice winter break program. Using infographic style posters, the exhibition aimed to educate students, faculty, and staff about public health, to highlight the breadth and interdisciplinarity of the field, and to raise awareness of public health careers.
