CCCE would like to announce that a Project Pericles Faculty Leadership Grant of $5,000 was awarded to Professor of Art, Stephen Mohring. In this new (Spring 2027) ACE course, “Habitats and Humanity: Considering Built Spaces” Mohring aims to move students from studio theory to direct “sweat equity” on active Habitat for Humanity job sites. By engaging in this hands-on process, students will confront the social implications of housing inequity while realizing their agency as “citizen-artist-makers”.
