  • Minnesota Campus Compact highlights work of Carleton student

    Charlotte Turovsky ’11, a Carleton senior and ACE Student Assistant, is one of Minnesota Campus Compact’s featured students. Charlotte attended the Campus Compact’s student leadership retreat this past October, and was part of a team of students were finalists in the Project Pericles Debating for Democracy 2010 policy letter contest in the Spring.

  • Carleton non-profit partner could win $25,000 through Bush Foundation—vote now!

    Growing Up Healthy, a coalition of organizations and agencies seeking to increase the level of community connectedness experienced by marginalized families with young children in Rice County, is one of three finalists out of over 200 contenders for a $25,000 grant from the Bush Foundation—but they need your help to win it!  The winner is selected through public online voting in the InCommons Collaboration Challenge, which ends on December 10.  Vote online now to support one of Carleton’s key community partners: http://www.incommons.org/en-us/CollaborationChallenge/finalists

  • Northfield Transit Corridor Summit at Carleton’s Great Hall

    On Tuesday, October 26th, local community leaders will meet at Carleton’s Great Hall to discuss possibilities for the development of Northfield’s Transit Corridor, including express bus and potential passenger rail service between Northfield and the Twin Cities. Charlotte Turovsky, Daniel Levy, and Logan Nash, who presented on transportation policy at the Project Pericles Debating for Democracy conference last Spring, are helping to facilitate the event.
