Opportunity: Intern at Northfield News

11 January 2011

Northfield News currently has an opening for a reporter intern as well as a multi-media intern–someone who is well-versed in photography, video and the Internet.

Carleton students are also invited to apply as an intern who would work on social media for the newspaper’s parent company, Huckle Media. Huckle Media owns publications throughout the area, including in Faribault, Owatonna and Waseca.

Interns are given a small stipend and typically work 8 to 10 hours per week. In most cases they will need access to their own transportation.

Northfield News has had great experiences with interns from Carleton in the past, and is eager to draw from the school’s base of talented students.
