Carleton Public Health Vista and ACE staff member Mohamed Bakri will be accompanying students to a public forum this Thursday, Oct. 29 at 6:30 pm about the Minnesota Health Plan, a statewide plan to provide comprehensive healthcare for all Minnesotans. State Senator John Marty will be present to discuss his proposal and field questions from the public. Interested Carleton students, faculty, or staff should contact Mohamed via e-mail. The forum will be at the Northfield Community Resource Center, 1651 Jefferson Parkway, Room 104 on Thursday, October 29th starting at 6pm with an informal gathering. Senator Marty’s presentation begins at 6:30pm. There will be time for questions and discussion after his talk.
