Diverse group gathers to discuss health care and HealthFinders
29 February 2012On Saturday February 18th, Carleton students and faculty helped HealthFinders with a community gathering for input, as they open a new clinic for uninsured and low income individuals in Rice County. As part of Pamela Feldman-Savelsberg’s Anthropology of Health and Illness course, students helped organize questions for the focus groups, which they will discuss in their end-of-term research papers. HealthFinders will then use the students’ research to guide the creation of the new clinic.
