The office of Academic Civic Engagement is seeking to support seniors who are compsing in such a way that their comps could have a civic engagement component. Is that my comps? you might ask – well read the questions below and if you answer yes to any one of them, your comps might be ACEy.
If so, we invite you to join us at a pizza lunch during common time on Thursday, October 11th in Hill Lounge.
- Is your project based in community engagement?
- Is it being done in response to a question or research need of a community partner?
- Did you or will you do the research or analysis in collaboration with a community partner?
- Do you plan or think you would want to give your findings back to a community?
- Does your comps build off of your work or your volunteering with a community partner (this includes the Carleton community as well).
- Does your comps build off of a project that you started in an ACE course?
At this first lunch meeting everyone will briefly share their comps projects and we will talk together about how we could best support you in your comps endeavors this year.
