From the water protectors resistance to the line 3 pipeline, to the uprisings for Black lives, and across the world as a response to social injustice, activists have used direct action to change their communities and stand up to corporations, lawmakers, and oppressors. In this workshop, we’ll explore how social movements use escalated protest and direct action to fight oppression and to build a better world along with going over our rights when dealing with the police.
