Rice County General Election Canvass Meeting

When: Friday, November 8, 8:30am. Runs for about 1-2 hours
Where: Rice County Government Services Building, Faribault, MN
What: After taking the oath of office, the canvassing board shall publicly canvass the election returns delivered to the county auditor. This meeting is open to representatives of the political parties, the press and the public.
- Plain language: They select a few precincts to hand count the votes from, verifying the accuracy of the voting machines.
