Community Conversation with Andrew Morrison
This event is part of the Sexploration event series, a collaborative effort between offices on campus to promote sexual health and wellbeing on campus. Attendance will enter you in a raffle for prizes from Smitten Kitten! The Conversation will be 2:15-3pm on Friday, April 15th in Willis 203. For the first 15 minutes, Sophie Baggett ‘23 will have a conversation with Andy about his work to promote gender equality in developing countries. Topics will include the use of behavioral science to address violence against women (see the report Applying Behavioral Insights to Intimate Partner Violence: Improving Services for Survivors in Latin America and the Caribbean) and access to financial services, the provision of integrated services to empower women, the potential of work on new masculinities to engage men as allies, and the role of intersectionalities in community-engaged work. The remainder of the time will be devoted to open question and answer. Andy is also presenting Convocation on the 15th, so we encourage you to attend to learn more about other dimensions of his work.
