The Sherman Fairchild Foundation has renewed its support of Carleton’s arts and technology (“CArtT”) initiative. CArtT Phase II will extend and build on Phase I, deepening faculty knowledge and experience in integrating technology into arts majors. Phase II will introduce new activities and objectives that will ensure innovation, new directions, and sustained growth.
Faculty projects and objectives will include development and implementation of courses and modules, team-teaching, purchase of equipment, performances, collaborations, development of partnerships for internships, technology training, and participation in workshops. Each year will include a faculty workshop, solicitation of faculty proposals, and funding of collaboration projects. The project will run through June 30, 2021.
