Congrats Class of 2020!
I’m so proud that I got to know so many of you throughout my Carleton career and I’ve watched so many of you grow from confused baby freshmen into such driven, passionate, kind, and accomplished people.
Congratulations on your graduation! What a big accomplishment!!! I wish I could give you a big hug!
I want to celebrate all the things you did and all the obstacles you got through to make it to this day, especially to my BIPOC friends, my low-income friends, my 1st generation-graduate friends, my LGBTQ+ friends, my undocumented friends, my international friends, my neuro-divergent friends, my disabled friends, and anyone who has had to work extra hard to make it through Carleton.
I love you all so much! You should be so proud of yourself, as much as your ancestors are. I can’t wait to see all the things you’ll do and all the lives you’ll move in your lifetimes.
