Microcredentials are a series of live, virtual courses designed to help students develop technical skills in high demand across industries. Ideal for upper level students, the menu of programs for 2025 includes:
- Level 1: Excel Basics
- Level 2: Excel Intermediate
- Using AI for Everyday Analysis Functions
- Level 1: SQL Basics
- Level 2: SQL Advancement
- Project Management 101
Students may choose a single foundational credential or stack learning from foundational knowledge to advanced competency by participating in multiple courses across the externship period. This is a strategic option for students looking to deepen specific skill sets that align with their career goals.
Upon completion of a credential, students will receive: professionally written resume bullets that model how one might showcase their learning and skill development in their own application materials, sample training work to showcase to recruiters/hiring managers, practice sets, and LinkedIn skill endorsements. Students will benefit from a network of talented like-minded peers working closely together throughout the programs, with opportunities to showcase their achieved competencies and portfolio of created deliverables from the courses.
The deadline to register for a microcredential was November 14. All spots are filled. Registration for 2026 will open in October 2026.
