Raba Tefera ’21 studied biology and biochemistry at Carleton. Now he lives in Birmingham, Alabama with a whole community of fellow Carls, and coordinates research to help make end-of-life care more equitable for children with cancer diagnoses.
Libby McKenna ’15 studied chemistry at Carleton. Now she’s a water engineer, studying how to clean our water systems better in order to help ease the effects of climate change.
As executive director of Save the Boundary Waters, Ingrid Lyons ’15 leads a team dedicated to permanently protecting Minnesota’s own Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, one of the country’s most unique freshwater ecosystems.
