This spring break, Carleton students have the opportunity to discover their leadership potential through the Carleton Leadership Seminar, an all-expenses-paid, three-day program held from March 26–28, 2025, in Houston, Texas.
Led by Carleton alumnus and leadership expert Jeff Appelquist ’80, author of Earthrise: Leadership Lessons from the Apollo Space Missions, students will explore leadership and team-building concepts while touring the Space Center Houston and Johnson Space Center.
Participants will:
- Uncover their unique leadership strengths.
- Gain tools for leading in a dynamic, global world.
- Commit to ongoing personal and professional growth.
This immersive experience is open to sophomores and juniors of all majors in good academic and disciplinary standing. Carleton covers all costs, including travel (from wherever the student is during the first half of Spring Break then back to campus at the end of the seminar), lodging, and meals.
Encourage your student to take advantage of this transformative opportunity! Applications are due in Handshake by February 9, 2025. For more details, visit our website or contact the Career Center.
