Internships provide Carls the opportunity to see and feel their liberal arts skills in action, acquire new professional skills, and build networks upon which their ideas and aspirations can come to life. Know of an internship opportunity or want to create one for a Carl this summer? The Career Center would love to connect with you.

You can send existing internship opportunities to the Career Center’s employer relations & recruiting team at recruiting@carleton.edu or post them directly to Carleton’s jobs board, Handshake.

Think a Carl would make a great intern at your organization or perhaps one within your professional network? Connect with recruiting@carleton.edu to begin the conversation. Our employer relations & recruiting team can talk you through what makes for a good internship experience and how to create an effective job description, as well as coordinate the posting, promotion, application collection, interview scheduling, and offer processes of recruiting. They can also help you build connections with Carls to promote your opportunity through strategic recruiting activities.

Thanks to generous donations from alumni like yourself, many Carls are able to accept unpaid or under-paid summer internships with the assistance of Carleton summer internship funding. We are excited about the opportunities this funding unlocks for both students and organizations eager to partner with them over the summer. Reach out to recruiting@carleton.edu to chat about this or any other questions you may have about creating internships for Carls.
