What is the Carleton Alumni Career Design Program?

The Career Design Program is a collaborative, 30-day online paid program for Carleton alumni that gives them the structure and accountability to find a more fulfilling career, leveraging the skills and passions they already have. By enrolling in this program, your Carl will carve out time to ask themselves about what comes next, and crucially, mapping out the way to get there. Cohorts are made up of Carleton alumni only, so they can strengthen their professional network and bounce ideas off each other.

In Fall 2024, over 100 Carleton Alumni signed up to make the first Career Design Program cohort: ages 23-61, spanning 13 industries, from entry to executive level, and spread throughout 26 states. An approval rating of 98% showed that Carls were glad to have been a part of this program, so Alumni Relations is bringing it back this spring!

“I felt supported and inspired by my peers. It was excellent motivation to active work on my career development rather than just thinking about it” – Fall 2024 Carleton Alumni Career Design Program participant

“This experience has helped me organize my thoughts into an actionable plan and has given me the resources to make a change that I need. I have created a bond with my peers that has given me courage.” – Fall 2024 Carleton Alumni Career Design Program participant

The Carleton Alumni Career Design Program begins April 12. Encourage your Carl to enroll today!
