Career Center offers fully funded seats in Harvard Business School Online Program

The Career Center is excited to offer a limited number of fully funded seats in the June cohort of the Harvard Business School Online, Core Business Essentials program. This 3-course program, featuring business analytics, business strategy, and financial accounting, is designed to equip students with the fundamentals of business.

According to HBS, students who participate in Core Business Essentials will learn to:

  • Interpret financial statements to evaluate a business’s overall health and the impact of important financial transactions
  • Analyze and interpret data to inform business decisions
  • Master the language and tools of business strategy to contribute meaningfully to your team and organization’s success
  • Develop foundational skills for navigating workplace relationships, negotiations, and ethics

Eligibility:
This program is open to students in the classes of 2029, 2028, and 2027 who will return to Carleton for at least one term, as well as graduating seniors.

The Career Center is able to provide full funding for a limited number of seats. First priority will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.

Students who have accepted Summer Internship Funding from the Career Center for Summer 2026 are not eligible for a funded seat. However, they may enroll in the program at Carleton’s discounted cost of $1,800.

The Career Center will host an information session on Friday, May 22, at 3:30 p.m. in Willis 203. Students interested in registering for the Core Business Essentials program are encouraged to attend to learn more about the program, time commitment, funding options, and requirements. Additional information about the application process and timeline will be shared soon.
