Carleton College uses Handshake to post jobs and internships and collect candidate application materials, promote on-campus or virtual information sessions and 1:1 sessions with employers, and on-campus or virtual interviewing.

Ready to post an opportunity for Carleton students and recent alumni on Handshake? Simply follow the steps below or reach out to recruiting@carleton.edu with the details of your opportunity and we will be happy to assist you.

Step 1: Register for a free employer account on Handshake

Follow Handshake’s steps to Create an Employer User Account if you are not already registered as an employer on Handshake.

Step 2: Connect with Carleton College on Handshake

As you set up your employer account on Handshake, search for and select “Carleton College” when you arrive at the “Connect to Schools” screen.

Once submitted, Carleton College will receive your request to connect. Once approved, you can move on to Step 3. We aim to process these requests quickly, and welcome you to email recruiting@carleton.edu if you would like us to expedite our review.

Step 3: Post your job or internship on Handshake

Log in to Handshake and follow steps to Post a Job.
