The Career Center’s Student Career Assistants (SCAs) are Peer Leaders in the Carleton Career Center who provide outreach and information to the campus community about career-related programs and resources, serve as resources and advisors for students, and assist Career Center staff with workshops, information sessions, and meetings.
Meet with the SCAs
SCAs meet with students one-on-one, either by appointment or through drop-in service. SCAs can support students with cover letters, résumés, identifying internships, finding internship funding, networking, LinkedIn, etc. SCAs are here to support students with their career-related needs — come early, come often!
One-on-one Appointments: Book a 30-minute session with an SCA or a Career Coach on Handshake. Appointments are available Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Drop-In Hours (New Time!): Stop by Johnson House Monday–Friday from 2:00–5:00 p.m. to chat with a Student Career Assistant (SCA). Note: Drop-ins are now offered exclusively in the afternoons, no appointment needed.
