Are you looking for a way to launch your career in nonprofit, education, social work, or school counseling?

Minnesota Alliance With Youth is a nonprofit that brings people together in service across generations to make Minnesota a place where all young people can thrive. Through service, they develop leaders who foster young people’s individual assets, honor their voices, and prepare them to reach their goals.

Their AmeriCorps Promise Fellows work with middle and high school students, ensuring that they get the support and education they need to start off strong in life. Promise Fellows foster strong relationships with students, provide attendance and behavior coaching, and much more!

They offer three programs:

  • Groundwork Fellows
Through the Groundwork Fellows program, AmeriCorps members help maintain and strengthen the network of organizations that support young people throughout Minnesota.
  • Promise Fellows
Through the Promise Fellows program, AmeriCorps members spend a year helping a small group of Minnesota students in grades 6 to 12 get the education they need to start off strong in life.
  • Youth Mental Health Corps
As part of a national pilot program, Youth Mental Health Fellows help young people across Minnesota access critical mental health resources while building their own careers.

Stop by the tables at Sayles and talk with Devin Henderson, Recruitment Coordinator. They are hiring current and graduating students to join their AmeriCorps team!
