John Clapp is the CEO of Deriva Energy (formerly Duke Energy Renewables), where he leads a team of over 550 professionals at one of the leading renewable developer/owner/operators in the US. Headquartered in Charlotte, Deriva has 91 operating operating utility-scale wind, solar and storage projects totaling over 6,200 GWs across the US, in addition to a pipeline of 12,500 GWs of projects under development. John brings 30 years of experience in global power, energy transition, and renewable project finance, development and operation to the Deriva team and to the Brookfield family.
