Carleton faculty are invited to learn more about the Weitz Fellows Program for graduating seniors. The Weitz Fellows Program provides one-year, full-time jobs for nine Carleton 2025 grads at nonprofit organizations in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Positions are paid, include benefits and funding for professional development, and provide cross-functional, professional experience in all aspects of the fellow’s organization.
The session will include brief presentations and a Q&A with Barbara Weitz ’70 P’96 P’99 P’02, Katie Weitz ’96, Jack Becker '86, and past Weitz Fellows. The fellowship was established in 2011 by Wally Weitz ’70 P’96 P’99 P’02 and Barbara Weitz ’70 P’96 P’99 P’02, and has provided one-year opportunities for 59 Carleton graduates since 2011 to work at select non-profit organizations.
Wine and light refreshments will be served.
