Weitz Fellows Program

Are you interested in careers in arts management, education, nonprofit management, policy development, or social change?

The Weitz Fellowship provides one-year, full-time jobs for nine Carleton 2025 graduates at nine nonprofit organizations in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska.

Representatives from the Weitz Family Foundation will present a brief overview of the program, including the cohort experience and robust support system for fellows. Then, a member from each organization will provide some insights into their organization's mission and work. The event will conclude by allowing students to enter breakout rooms with organizations of their choice to learn even more about those organizations.

Each organization's job opening is linked below:

Advocacy & Education

Arts & Film

Law & Policy

Positions offer a $44,000 salary, plus benefits and $1,500 in funds for professional development. They also provide cross-functional, professional experience in all aspects of the fellow's organization, which can accelerate one's career in advocacy, arts, nonprofit, or policy roles.
