Special Olympics Minnesota

Special Olympics Minnesota’s mission is to create a new world of inclusion and acceptance for people with intellectual disabilities. We do this by providing year-round sports training and athletic competitions, inclusive healthcare programs, leadership and advocacy training, and inclusive school programs.
In June 2026, the Special Olympics USA Games will bring 4,000 athletes, 1,500 coaches, and 75,000 fans from all 50 states right here to Minnesota! Featuring 19 sports, the Games will shine a light on the abilities and strengths of people with intellectual disabilities. It will take an estimated 10,000 volunteers to make the 2026 USA games a success!!
Stop by the tables at Sayles and talk with Caitlyn Aday, Volunteer Coordinator, about ways you can get involved.
