Village (Education Startup) Informational Table
Village is an Eau Claire, Wisconsin-based startup working to connect every local child to out-of-school opportunities. Village promotes curiosity-driven learning by restoring the local community as a classroom that puts every child first.
To do so, they are building a single place for families to find educational opportunities in their area from a variety of providers after school, on the weekends, and over the school breaks. They are striving to help cities develop their market for education outside of the K-12 school day so by facilitating the connection of families and providers with their platform and closing accessibility gaps with tax-deductible scholarships from local donors.
Carleton alumni, Noah Plewa ’19, Chief Executive Officer and co-founder, and Sarah Robinson '14, Director of Product from Village will be on campus to promote their internships in Product Management and Software Engineering. Plan to drop by and chat with them to learn more.
