30 Minutes: David Yatzeck '04, (Economics) High Yield Research, T. Rowe Price International Ltd.
David began his career in finance during a Wells Fargo internship after his Junior year. Upon graduating with an economics major in 2004, he joined Wells Fargo and spent five years working in Minneapolis, San Francisco and Chicago. All roles were as a corporate credit analyst, analyzing the repayment abilities of corporate customers (financial institution customers including Goldman Sachs, AIG and Chicago based corporates such as McDonalds.). Then attended Columbia Business school from ‘09-‘11 and was selected to be in the Applied Value Investing Program. Interned in Franklin Templeton’s High Yield Group covering auto suppliers making investment recommendations. Joined T Rowe Price’s High Yield Group upon graduation and spent five years in London and now almost six years in San Francisco. At T Rowe, it has been his job to make sector and security recommendations for their retail and institutional mutual funds. He covered TMT credits in London and now covers autos, metals and utilities. His recommendations are primarily for bonds and term loans, however they occasionally invest in equities and equity linked instruments.
