Tech Career Circle (4-week workshop)
A four-week series to provide guidance and support for students to explore opportunities in the technology field.
As a bonus this year, we will be working with Pathrise to connect students with industry specialists from top tech companies like Google, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft. Whether you’d like resume advice, tips on how to get an interview, interview prep, or a technical mock interview (and the framework that companies use), Pathrise has a specialist for you. At the end of the four weeks, we intend to have all participants identify and be prepared to apply to at least one internship or job opportunity for next summer.
Overview
Each week, participants will learn about new tools and resources to support them in their job search. They will also create content, receive feedback, and refine their materials.
Participants will have guided 1:1 conversations with industry specialists, learn about and practice technical interviewing, and participate in open sessions with industry specialists about the tech industry
Worktime outside of class: up to you (45 mins per week would accelerate your progress)
