Fall 2021 Career Center Program: Career Prep Week
The busy fall recruiting season, which also is the peak recruiting season for computer science, consulting, and finance opportunities, coincides with the start of Carleton's academic year. It has been proven time after time that building relationships is the best strategy for job search success.
The Career Center is here to help you foster relationships with employers and learn the best strategies to stand out in highly competitive fields and industries. Please join us for our second annual 'Career Prep Week' scheduled for Tuesday, August 31 through Thursday, September 2.
The week will include several workshops to prepare you for your internship or job search, as well as two job and internship fairs.
Workshops
- How to prepare for a job/internship search for a career in technology; presented by Black Tech Talent - Tues., Aug. 31, 11-12 p.m.
- Teaching tech: How to flourish as a tech applicant; presented by 5 Carls - Wed., Sept. 1, 1-2 p.m.
- Liberal Arts Majors at a Finance Firm; presented by Ameriprise Financial - Wed., Sept. 1, 6-7 p.m.
- Preparing for Career Fairs; presented by Mike Habermann ’15 - Thurs., Sept. 2, 6-7 p.m.
