CAMS checks out camera, tripod, and mic to CAMS 111 students for the entire term. Sign up for an appointment to pick up first week and return tenth week. All other reservations (including additional gear for which CAMS 111 students are authorized) are for a maximum two days, in accord with circulation policy and terms of use.

WebCheckout & Patron Portal

WebCheckout (WCO) is the online equipment booking system we use in the CAMS department. There are 3 ways to reserve equipment:

  1. You can use WCO’s Patron Portal to make a reservation yourself at any time. No-same-day-reservations still applies, and you must keep your account in good standing campus-wide to make a reservation in Patron Portal.
  2. Over the phone by calling 507-222-5434 when we’re open.
  3. Stop by the Production Office in person when we’re open.

All requests are reviewed during our business hours M-F. For any urgent, equipment-related renewals over the weekend, please call the office at (507)-222-5434 to guarantee a timely response.

How to Make a Reservation in Patron Portal

To edit or cancel an existing reservation:

  1. Click on the “My Reservations” dropdown.
  2. Click on the reservation you’d like to edit or cancel.
    •    Click “Edit Reservation” to edit or
    •    Click “Cancel Reservation” to cancel.
  3. The “My Current Checkouts” dropdown will show your current checkouts. The “History” dropdown will show your past checkouts. The “My Groups” dropdown will show which WebCheckout groups you are a part of.
