Carleton Virtual Breakfast Club

Finding our roles, and understanding our resources,
in an era of anti-trans legislation
with Track Trachtenberg ‘17

Thursday, June 8, 2023
10 a.m. Central Time
via Zoom
Co-sponsored by Out After Carleton

Track Trachtenberg (they/he) will discuss their experience making sense of systems set out to destroy us—from the harms done by supposedly liberal government institutions to the coordinated rollbacks of trans rights by conservative politicians across the country. He will speak to the importance of finding our place in justice work and caring for ourselves, and each other, while we fight for our communities.

Track is a youth worker, community organizer, and facilitator and served as City of Minneapolis’s first Trans Equity Project Coordinator from mid 2019 to early 2023. This role served in the City’s Racial Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Department, which was nearly dissolved during their time at the City.

Register by Wednesday, June 7 to participate in this Zoom event.

Cost: None.

Unable to join our live event? No problem—we will post a recording of the event on our Alumni Events Recordings page.
