Introduction to Investment Banking Session (Virtual)
Curious about investment banking?
Karol Knowa ’05, political science & international relations major from Carleton and current Director of Pro Finance Academy, is holding a virtual introductory session on investment banking. Karol is also the Founder/CEO of OPEN Finance Academy, the Founder/Director of KK Capital Partners, and is a Financial Modeling and Valuations Specialist for Facilitating Equity Financing.
During this session Karol will cover the general structure of how investment banks are set up between different offices and banking divisions (and differences in career trajectories and recruitment). In the second part of the session, he’ll focus on the role of “front-office” advisory and how bankers advise clients on transactions.
