Come join the students of ARCN 246: Archaeology Methods and Lab as they share results from their recent archaeological excavations at the Cowling Arboretum. This year, our excavations and archival research focused on the Olin Farm House, purchased by Carleton in 1914. The farm is located in the Lower Arb, near Highway 19. Archaeological excavations concentrated on the farm's outbuildings, including the barn, machine shed, pig pens, well, and trash dump. We will present and display artifacts, maps, brochures, and so much more! Walk-in hours from 2pm-4pm. Students, faculty, alumni, and community members are all welcome.
