LTC Lunch - Can AI Be a Reliable Research Partner for Students?

Tue, April 8, 2025 • 11:45am - 1:00pm (1h 15m) • Weitz 236

AI Literacy is rapidly evolving for all of us and the impact is especially intense for students. Join us and discuss the state of these tools to maximize the benefits of AI as a research partner for students through the entire research process.  We will share examples of AI in the lit review process, show tools for working with texts, transcriptions and translations, data & writing code, share examples of what happens with data analysis and visualization, through using AI for research materials and code documentation.  Sometimes helpful, distracting, misleading, and completely wrong  - but these tools are here to stay so let’s work together to sort through the mayhem.
