The American Studies Program invites you to a public talk by Chris Elias, Visiting Assistant Professor in American Studies, about how a 1936 murder case illuminates the construction of race in early twentieth century America. 

We will have a reception after the talk to welcome Chris to the American Studies Program this fall as an Assistant Professor in American Studies!
