Vesak: Buddha's Birth & Awakening. Sunday, May 11th 5:00pm, Chapel. Led by Sungha Yun, Won Buddhist Priest and Assistant Professor of Religion and Asian Studies (St. Olaf College). Dinner from Tokyo Grill. Cosponsored with MOSAIC. Carleton Office of the Chaplain.

Led by Sungha Yun, Wŏn Buddhist Priest and Assistant Professor of Religion and Asian Studies (St. Olaf College). Vesak commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and death of Buddha and is the most important Buddhist festival. There will be a talk & meditation. Dinner will follow the service. Co-sponsored by MOSAIC & the Chaplain's Office.
