Spring arb crew pulling garlic mustard

Join us to remove invasive Garlic Mustard and Dame's Rocket in the Arboretum. These two forest invaders crowd out native wildflowers and cause ecosystem decline in our forests. This event will be cancelled if inclement weather is expected. We will post cancellation here by 5pm Friday, May 9. Wear clothes that can get dirty - we suggest long pants, long sleeves, and closed toe shoes and socks. We will have gloves to provide but if you have a favorite pair you might want to bring them.

We will be working at the 32737 Canada Ave entrance of the Arboretum, this is the southern parking lot along Canada Avenue, 1/4 mile north of Hwy 19.  There is limited parking so please watch for Arboretum staff directing parking just south of the entrance. Students can expect to catch a ride from Arboretum staff or a volunteer, please reach out to lfalconer@carleton.edu if you need a ride.
