As a recipient of a Larson International Fellowship, Awa spent the month of August exploring the different ways three Moroccan organizations seek to increase women’s empowerment through technical skill development, literacy enrichment, and professional development programming. Awa is excited to share the incredible stories and insights gained during time spent in Morocco. From learning about the unique cultural dynamics to witnessing the powerful resilience of Moroccan women, Awa describes the experience as "truly eye-opening."
