At Carleton, Ken majored in English and did activities like Ultimate Frisbee and played cards. From early on, games were a big part of his life. Ken enjoyed studying abroad in London with courses in English and Psychology. At the time, he hadn't taken any courses in math or science, but his interest shifted in those directions after years of experience in designing digital experiences and gaming.
