NEW 25 Mandela-Grimke Lecture

Dr. Sherwin Bryant, Associate Professor of History and Director, Center forAfrican and African American Studies at Rice University, will present “Slavery and Sovereignty in the Atlantic and Pacific Lowlands” for this inaugural Mandela-Grimké Lecture honoring the significant contributions of Nelson Mandela and Angelina Weld Grimké. This lecture series is sponsored by The Mary and Fred Easter Endowment for Africana Studies.
