'Better Food Through Enabling Technologies' by Dr. Christine Nowakowski, Principal Scientist at General Mills, Inc.
Identifying as a cis-female scientist in a traditional environment (Big Ag) has given me some interesting stories. I’d like to share my journey and talk about my philosophy of ‘stealth health’. I’ll discuss the other ways I use my technical expertise – teaching, advising, philanthropy. And, I will talk about corporate research and how we can aspire to be a force for good. The last point I’ll cover is creating those networks to make tangible change in the world. Come with questions!
