Law School Admissions 101 (University of Michigan)
Are you considering applying to law school?
Join the University of Michigan Law School's associate director of admissions, Erik Choisy, for a comprehensive overview of every element of the law school admissions process—from LSAT and undergraduate records to letters of recommendation and resumes, through essays and addenda. Also joining Erik is Carleton parent, and Dean of Admissions, at the University of Michigan Law School, Sarah Zearfoss P'16.
Erik is a graduate of Michigan Law (class of 2013), and has worked in the admissions office for more than six years. During that time, he also served as acting director of the Office of Financial Aid for almost two years. If you are wondering how to put your application in the best form for succeeding in your law school applications, this event will be very helpful.
'Dean Z' has overseen all aspects of admissions at Michigan Law for more than 20 years, and has read more than 80,000 applications. She is also a 1992 graduate of Michigan Law and oversees the Offices of Career Planning and Financial Aid.
Students will all gather in Hasenstab Hall and lunch will be provided. Please register for an accurate food count.
