OCS Studio Art in the South Pacific: Student Art Show
Join us for a reception on Wednesday, April 5 at 5:00pm in Boliou.
The goal of this program is to bring together a studio art practice with the experiential learning of off-campus study. Students draw from nature in a new environment, produce narrative artwork in response to travel, and study environmental and cultural issues in context. During the trip, students develop a steady habit of drawing, and see it as a unique way to better understand their surroundings. They create a visual journal - through drawing and printmaking - of their experiences abroad, and that work will be on display early spring term for the larger Carleton community.
