Preparing for Career Fairs

Are you planning to search for a job or internship this year? Attending a career fair (there are several being offered in-person and virtually this year) is a great way to find employment!

Gain valuable information on how to prepare from Carleton alum, Mike Habermann ’15. Mike is a Digital Product Manager, Senior Consultant at Optum, a UnitedHealth Group Company.

Workshop: Thursday, September 2 at 6:00pm CST, Virtual; RSVP via Handshake to access the event link

Mike is no stranger to this topic. He was a Student Career Assistant for three years prior to graduating from Carleton. During his time in the Career Center, he worked with several Carls to perfect their resume, cover letter, and application materials. He himself attended job fairs as a student.

Following Carleton, Mike has been continually active in working with the Career Center to actively recruit Carls for Optum. In addition to the tips he will provide you to prepare for upcoming fairs, he will talk a little bit about Optum opportunities!
