A four-year letter-winner, Scott Krohn amassed 1,366 career points, ranking third at the time in Carleton history. He established the school record with 234 three pointers, a figure that broke the MIAC record and set the Minnesota (all divisions) collegiate mark. More than only a shooter, Krohn also ranked in Carleton’s top 10 in assists and owned the career mark for blocked shots at time of his graduation. He teamed with Gerrick Monroe to lead Carleton to four consecutive MIAC playoff appearances for the first time in program history. During Krohn’s first season at Carleton, the Knights swept rival St. Olaf and re-captured the Goat Trophy for the first time in 33 years. As a captain for the 1992-93 team, Krohn was the second-leading scorer in the conference at 18.9 points per game and was named to the All-MIAC First Team and the National Association of Basketball Coaches All-West Region First Team. In January 1993, he set Carleton records by making 10 three pointers versus Macalester and 17 free throws versus Bethel. The 1992-93 team concluded the season 18-7 overall and 16-4 in the MIAC, with both win totals establishing new school standards. The basketball class of 1993 finished with 67 career wins, including a school-record 57 conference victories.
