For Students:
Grant “Third-Party User Access”
You can grant family or other trusted third parties proxy access to specific information or functions in your account from your Student Profile in Workday. For example, a parent or guardian can have access to pay your bill. Granting Third Party Access is a two-step process:
- First, you set up the Third Party account (Add a Third Party Proxy Account workday help article)
- Then you assign rights to the Third Party (instructions in our guide on Managing Third Party Access Permissions)
For Parents/Guardian:
Accessing Student Information and Bills
Third-party access to include Parent/Guardian access to academic and financial information is entirely controlled by your student. Students can designate you or other trusted people as “Third Party Users” when they add you to their “Friends and Family” list in Workday. This is a three-step process:
- Students designate you as a third party
- Students then grant permission for specific academic and financial information.
- You can then log into the Third Party Version of Workday (parent instructions)
- See our guide on setting up your Third Party Workday account.
- Once your account is set up, you can log into the Third-Party version of Workday. We encourage you to bookmark this link.
- See our guide on navigating your Third Party Workday Account.
These steps are necessary before you can do things like view your student’s statement, pay their bill online, view their enrolled classes, etc.
