Monday, October 24, 3:30-4:30, 141 Olin Jessalyn Ayars ‘21, Paglia Fellow and researcher at the University of New Mexico will give a talk titled “Do animals make good choices? Linking movement and fitness data to understand ecological traps”. Jessalyn is a Carleton Biology alum who will discuss the relationships between reproductive outcomes and habitat selection for California spotted owls as well as address her experiences as a post-baccalaureate researcher with the Paglia Fellowship.
