Mark McKone, Towsley Professor of Biology, and Dan Hernández, Professor and Chair of Biology, have recently published a paper in the journal Restoration Ecology titled Community-level assisted migration for climate-appropriate prairie restoration. The paper addresses the problem of how to optimize seed sources for prairie plantings in the face of changing climate.
