Nancy Braker ’81, Puzak Family Director of the Cowling Arboretum, gave an invited talk, “McKnight Prairie: A 50-year love story,” at the annual meeting of The Prairie Enthusiasts, a conservation group working regionally in Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Nancy described the work of former Professor of Biology Paul Jensen (1921-2012), and how he influenced generations of Carleton students to work in the field of natural resource education and conservation by introducing them to the prairie landscape. Also speaking at the conference was Jared Beck ’14.
